This specimen was lot 2052 in Künker sale 352 (Osnabrück, Germany, September 2021), where it sold for €950 (about US$1,322 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"PFALZ, KURFÜRSTENTUM, Ruprecht II. 1390-1398. Goldgulden o. J. (1391), Bacharach. Mit Beizeichen Adler. GOLD. R Fast vorzüglich. (Germany, electorate of Pfalz, Ruprecht II, 1390-98, undated goldgulden, Bacharach mint, with eagle mintmark. Rare, about extremely fine.)"
This type was also struck at the Oppenheim mint.
