This specimen was lot 6595 in Künker sale 336 (Osnabrück, Germany, March 2020), where it sold for €800 (about US$1,047 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"PFALZ, PFALZ, KURFÜRSTENTUM, Ruprecht I. 1353-1390. Goldgulden o. J. (1380-1385), Oppenheim. GOLD. Sehr schön. (Germany, electorate of Pfalz, Ruprecht I, 1353-90, undated goldgulden, Oppenheim mint. Very fine.)"
The Palatinate, on the border with France, was divided several times. Friedberg lists this type but does not mention the mints.
