This specimen was lot 22627 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Philadelphia, August 2018), where it sold for $690. The catalog description[1] noted, "GERMANY. Palatinate (Pfalz). Goldgulden, ND (1353-90). Ruprecht I (1353-90). NGC AU Details--Bent. Minimally worn with a soft bend in planchet." The Palatinate, on the border with France, was divided several times. Friedberg lists this type but does not distinguish the mints (Bacharach, Heidelberg).
