This specimen was lot 24631 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2018), where it sold for $660. The catalog description[1] noted, "PERU. 20 Soles, 1952. NGC MS-63. From a mintage of only 424 pieces. Sharply struck, brilliant and quite attractive." This denomination, struck 1950-69, was theoretically a circulating coin but actually was a bullion piece like her sisters, the gold five, ten, fifty and hundred soles.
Recorded mintage: 424, a better date.
Specification: 9.36 g, 0.900 fine gold, 0.269 troy oz AGW, 22 mm diameter.
