This specimen was lot 1239 in Sedwick Treasure Auction 38 (Winter Park, FL, November 2025), where it sold for $780. The catalog description[1] noted, "PERU, Cuzco, gold 1 escudo, 1830 G, NGC AU details / cleaned, finest and only example in NGC census, ex-Almenara. Choice luster and rich gold color, bold full strike, light hairlines only. Pedigreed to the Almenara Collection (stated on label)." This is from a type struck at Cuzco 1826 and 1830. Lima also minted this type in 1826-33.
