This specimen was lot 1409 in Aureo y Calicó sale 391 (Barcelona, June 2022), where it sold for €240 (about US$302 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"1806. Carlos IV. Lima. 1/4 de real. Golpecitos. Rara. MBC/MBC+. (Peru, Charles IV, quarter real of 1806, Lima mint. Nicked, rare, very fine or better.)"
Altho the SCWC divides the cuartillas of Lima into KM 102.2 (1796-1808) and KM 108 (1809-23), they are identical except for the date. None bear assayer's initials. This date does not obtain any premium in Cayón but it is the second 1806 we have posted on this site.
