This specimen was lot 3887 in Stephen Album sale 50 (Santa Rosa, CA, September 2024), where it sold for $312. The catalog description[1] noted, "PATAN: Yoga Narendra Malla, 1685-1705, AR mohar, NS805 (1685), swastika design obverse, About XF, ex Dr. Robert A. Rosenfeld Collection." The SCWC notes that the mohar was introduced during the reign of Lakshmi Narasimha to displace the debased tanka coinage. The mohar was half a rupee and coins were minted down to 1/128 mohar. The SCWC records the varieties KM 324, KM 325, KM 332, KM 336 and 337 for the date as the king honored his various queens of which he had about a dozen.
