This specimen was lot 1196 in Sedwick Auction 37 (Winter Park, FL, May 2025), where it sold for $1,680. The catalog description[1] noted, "PANAMA, 1 real, incuse "P" countermark on a Burgos, Spain, ½ real, Ferdinand-Isabel, assayer scallop in legend, mintmark B below yoke, very rare. Bold full countermark (XF) in center of obverse of VF/Fine host with toning on fields, full legend (Gothic) on obverse and most on slightly off-center reverse, the latter with minor porosity."
