Steve Album sale 39, lot 3462

This specimen was lot 3462 in Stephen Album sale 39 (Santa Rosa, CA, January 2021), where it did not sell. The catalog description^[1] noted, "OMAN: Qaboos bin Said, 1970-2020, AR 2½ rials, AH1397, Caracal Lynx, Unc." Several NCLT's were issued in AH 1397 to honor the sultan's seventh anniversary, including a gold five rials (KM 62) and 75 rials (KM 63).

Recorded Mintage: 4,539 plus 4,407 proofs.

Specification: 28.28 g, 0.925 fine silver, 38.6 mm diameter.
