Sincona sale 101, lot 3506

This specimen was lot 3506 in Sincona Auction 101 (Zürich, October 2025), where it sold for 160 CHF (about US$241 including buyers' fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"RDR / ÖSTERREICH Olmütz, Bistum, Karl III. von Lothringen, 1695-1711. 6 Kreuzer 1710, Kremsier. Walzenprägung. Sehr schön-vorzüglich. (Austria, bishopric of Olmütz, Charles III of Lorraine, 1695-1711, six kreuzer of 1710, Kremsier mint. Rotated reverse, Very Fine-Extremely Fine.)"

This type was struck 1706-11; the SCWC notes, "KM 374 has more than 12 minor varieties." Six kreuzer was one-fifteenth of a reichs thaler. Olmütz, then in Moravia, is now Olomuoc in the Czech Republic.
