Olmutz 1705 kreuzer KM-337.2
This specimen was lot 3497 in Sincona Auction 101 (Zürich, October 2025), where it sold for 50 CHF (about US$75 including buyers' fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"RDR / ÖSTERREICH Olmütz, Bistum, Karl III. von Lothringen, 1695-1711. Kreuzer 1705, Kremsier. Vorzüglich. Hübsche Patina. (Austria, bishopric of Olmütz, Charles III of Lorraine, 1695-1711, kreuzer of 1705, Kremsier mint. Extremely Fine, Attractively toned.)"
Bishop Karl struck kreuzer 1701-08. The SCWC divides the issue into KM 337.1, with inner circles on both sides, and KM 337.2, without (shown here). One reichs thaler was ninety kreuzer. Olmütz, then in Moravia, is now Olomuoc in the Czech Republic.
