Olmutz 1686 15 kreuzer
This specimen was lot 3481 in Sincona Auction 101 (Zürich, October 2025), where it sold for 300 CHF (about US$452 including buyers' fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"RDR / ÖSTERREICH Olmütz, Bistum, Karl II. von Liechtenstein-Kastelkorn, 1664-1695. 15 Kreuzer 1686, Kremsier. Walzenprägung. Vorzüglich. Überdurchschnittlich gut ausgeprägt. (Austria, bishopric of Olmütz, Charles II of Liechtenstein-Kastelkorn, 1664-1695, fifteen kreuzer of 1686, Kremsier mint. Rotated reverse, Extremely Fine, Extraordinarily well struck.)"
This subtype was struck 1686 only; earlier fifteen kreuzer were struck 1664, 1675-77 and 1679. Olmütz, then in Moravia, is now Olomuoc in the Czech Republic.
