Sincona sale 101, lot 3477

This specimen was lot 3477 in Sincona Auction 101 (Zürich, October 2025), where it sold for 300 CHF (about US$452 including buyers' fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"RDR / ÖSTERREICH Olmütz, Bistum, Karl II. von Liechtenstein-Kastelkorn, 1664-1695. 15 Kreuzer 1676, Kremsier. Walzenprägung. Sehr selten in dieser Erhaltung. Gutes vorzüglich. Feine Patina. Überdurchschnittlich gut ausgeprägt. (Austria, bishopric of Olmütz, Charles II of Liechtenstein-Kastelkorn, 1664-1695, fifteen kreuzer of 1676, Kremsier mint. Rotated reverse, Very rare in this condition, About Uncirculated, Nicely toned, Extraordinarily well struck.)"

Olmütz, then in Moravia, is now Olomuoc in the Czech Republic. This fifteen kreuzer is noted for 1675-77 and was worth one sixth of a thaler.
