This specimen was lot 2780 in Sincona sale 26 (Zürich, October 2015), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted,
"Nurnberg, Dukat 1790. Stempel von J.P. Werner. Sehr selten. Sehr schön. Etwas bearbeitet. (Germany, city of Nurnberg, ducat of 1790, dies by J. P. Werner. Very rare, very fine, tooled.)"
Like most of the gold issues from this city during the eighteenth century, this type is rare.
