Sincona sale 26, lot 2755

This specimen was lot 2755 in Sincona sale 26 (Zürich, October 2015), where it sold for 260 CHF (about US$321 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"Nurnberg, Taler 1745. Schön-sehr schön. Dunkle Tönung. (Germany, city of Nurnberg, thaler of 1745, fine to very fine, dark toning.)"

This one year type is very scarce, verging on rare.
