This specimen was lot 2751 in Sincona sale 26 (Zürich, October 2015), where it sold for 1,500 CHF (about US$1,853 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"Nurnberg, Taler 1736. Vorzüglich-FDC. (Germany, city of Nurnberg, thaler of 1736, extremely fine to uncirculated.)"
This one year type issued in the name of Charles VI is rare. His death in 1740 touched off the War of the Austrian Succession.
