Künker sale 386, lot 5340

This specimen was lot 5340 in Künker sale 386 (Osnabrück, March 2023), where it sold for €1,300 (about US$1,680 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"NÜRNBERG, STADT, 1/2 Guldentaler (30 Kreuzer) 1620, mit Titel Ferdinands II. RR Sehr schön. (city of Nuremberg, half gulden or thirty kreuzer of 1620, struck in the name of Ferdinand II. Very rare, very fine.)"

This type was struck 1620-32 and is slightly scarce per the SCWC. Another half gulden, KM-75, features an angel supporting one shield on the obverse.
