This specimen was lot 76569 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, September 2025), where it sold for $240. The catalog description[1] noted, "NORWAY. 24 Skilling, 1773. Kongsberg Mint. Christian VII. NGC AU-55." This is the most common date of a type struck 1772-74, 1783 and 1788. Despite the substantial mintage, it is scarce. This denomination was one-fourth of a specie daler and was struck in numerous types 1735-88.
