This specimen was lot 11090 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice Online Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, February 2025), where it sold for €2,400 (about US$2,502). The catalog description[1] noted, "NORWAY. Krone, 1676-PG. Christiania mint. Christian V. NGC AU Details-Obverse Scratched, Cleaned. Rare date with lovely toning. From the L. E. Bruun Collection." This type was struck 1670-80. While it is not particularly common, it is often collected in lieu of the much rarer specie dalers. One specie daler was six mark or 96 skilling.
