This specimen was lot 71794 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, October 2021), where it sold for $65. The catalog description[1] noted, "NETHERLANDS EAST INDIES. Dutch East India Company. West Friesland. Duit, 1735. PCGS Genuine--Environmental Damage, EF Details. A small amount of verdigris to the left of the crowned arms accounts for the "details" grade." This type was struck at the Westfriesland mint 1729-37, 1743-56, 1764-73, 1776-81, 1784-94 for use in the East Indies. It is common.
