This specimen was lot 70464 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, October 2021), where it sold for $55. The catalog description[1] noted, "CURACAO. 5 Cents, 1943. Philadelphia Mint. Wilhelmina. NGC MS-66. Diamond shaped. With just three graded finer, this alluring, steely gray specimen is undoubtedly one of the finest known, boasting a great pedigree as well. Ex: Richard L. Lissner Collection (St. James's [& CNG] 29 - 8/2014) Lot # 1325.4." The SCWC files this under Curaçao but Schulman catalogs this as a homeland type. This square type was struck 1913-14, 1923, 1929 and 1932-40.
