Sincona sale 22, lot 1781

This specimen was lot 1781 in Sincona sale 22 (Zürich, May 2015), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted,

"Königreich der Niederlande, Wilhelm III. 1849-1890 10 Cents 1882. Gutes vorzüglich. (kingdom of the Netherlands, William III (1849-90), ten cents of 1882, good extremely fine.)"

This is a common date of a common type struck in the Netherlands 1849-90 with various privy marks during the reign of William III. It is rather scarce in nice condition. The date comes with and without dot.

Recorded mintage: 2,000,000.

Specification: 1.4 g, 0.640 fine silver, 15 mm diameter, reeded edge. This specimen 1.41 g.
