This specimen was lot 1318 in Goldberg Sale 139 (Los Angeles, June 2024), where it sold for $690. The catalog description[1] noted, "Nepal. ¼ Ounce-Asarfi, VS2054-1997. Buddha's Birth. Traditional square in circle design. Reverse: Standing figure at center, cameo at right, small figure at left. PCGS graded Proof 69 Deep Cameo. Ex Goldberg Sale 44, Feb 10, 2008, lot 4100. The Peh Collection Part II." This NCLT was likely sold in sets with KM 1099 (1 oz asarfi), KM 1096 and KM 1097.
