This specimen was lot 1285 in Ponterio sale 182 (New York, January 2014), where it sold for $2,291.25. The catalog description^[1] noted, "ITALY. Naples & Sicily. Scudo d'Oro, 1626-MCC. PCGS AU-55 Secure Holder. Philip IV of Spain (1621-65)." This type was struck for Philip IV of Spain 1622-29. The Spanish ruled Naples until the death of the last Hapsburg in 1700.
