Naples 1648-GACM 15 grana
This specimen was lot 5142 in Künker sale 335 (Osnabrück, Germany, March 2020), where it sold for €360 (about US$471 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"ITALIEN, NEAPEL UND SIZILIEN, Heinrich von Lothringen, 1647-1648. 15 Grana 1648, Neapel, geprägt nach dem Masaniello-Aufstand (Tommaso Aniello, b.1623 Amalfi, †1647, Fischer, Obsthändler und Hauptanführer beim Aufstand in Neapel). Gekröntes Wappen der Republik//Der heilige Januarius v. v. in Wolken, zu den Seiten die Signatur * - GAC (Giov. Andrea Cavo) / M (Giuseppe Maffei). Sehr schön. Aus der Sammlung Eberhard Link. Exemplar der Auktion Numismatica Ars Classica and Spink Taisai 52, Zürich 1994, Nr. 1214. Tommaso Aniello (1623-47) was a local fisherman who almost accidentally ended up as leader of a Neapolitan rebellion against Spanish rule. The local governor, Henry of Lorraine, switched to his side and issued coins on his behalf.
