This specimen was lot 56507 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2024), where it sold for $80. The catalog description[1] noted, "GERMANY. Munster. 6 Pfenning, 1787. NGC AU-58." This type was struck 1787-90 and has a modest catalog value. We don't know why the saint, identified in the SCWC as St. Paul, is brandishing a sword. The occasion of the death of bishop Maximilian Franz in 1801 marked the last issue of coinage from this state.
Recorded mintage: unknown.
Specification: copper, 27 mm diameter.
Catalog reference: KM-447.
