This specimen was lot 2189 in Steve Album Auction 54 (Santa Rosa, CA, January 2026), where it sold for $390. The catalog description[1] noted, "MUGHAL: Shah Jahan I, 1628-1658, AR rupee, Multan, AH1038 year one (ahad), XF, Scarce." This mint struck this rupee in this style during AH 1037-1039 and in style 224 for AH 1038-1039. Twenty other mints shared in this issue.
