This coin was minted in Mexico City for the bicentennial of the birth of Miguel Hidalgo, martyr of the struggle for independence from Spain. It was accompanied by medallic gold ten and twenty pesos.

Specification: 27.78 g, 0.720 fine silver, .643 troy oz ASW, 40 mm diameter, edge lettered COMERCIO - AGRICULTURA - INDUSTRIA.
