This specimen was lot 33508 in Heritage sale 3073 (Chicago, April 2019), where it sold for $1,920. The catalog description[1] noted, "Estados Unidos gold 50 Pesos 1945 MS65 PCGS, Mexico City mint." This type was struck by Mexico 1921-31, 1944-47. No date is rare but 1947 is the restrike date.
Recorded mintage: 1,012,000.
Specification: 41.67 g, 0.900 fine gold, 1.205 troy oz AGW, 37 mm diameter.
