Mexico 1913-M 20 centavos

This specimen is an example of a type struck 1905-14 at Mexico City. The last branch mints, Zacatecas and Culiacan, were closed in 1905 and all official Mexican coinage since has borne the Mexico City mintmark ("M" or "Mo"). This type replaced the silver twenty centavos struck 1898-1905. The 1913 is a slightly better date.

Specification: 5 g, 0.800 fine silver, 22 mm diameter, reeded edge.
