This specimen was lot 7828 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2022), where it sold for $600. The catalog description[1] noted, "MEXICO. 10 Pesos, 1907-M. Mexico City Mint. NGC MS-64. Pop: 2, only one graded finer by NGC. A fully lustrous and pleasing coin, at a rather lofty grade for this particular date." This type was struck at the Mexico City mint 1905-10, 1916-20 and restruck in 1959.
Recorded mintage: 1,589,000.
Specification: 8.33 g 0.900 fine gold, 0.241troy oz AGW, 22.5 mm diameter.
