This specimen was lot 31089 in Heritage sale 3041 (Chicago, August 2015), where it sold for $423. The catalog description[1] noted, "Ferdinand VI gold Escudo 1752 Mo-MF VG10 NGC, Mexico City mint. The first year in this series with aged, golden patination and vibrant, coppery-red highlights atop the design elements. Scarce at all grade levels. From The Rudman Collection of Mexican Coins." This type was struck 1752-56 and is the second of three types featuring Ferdinand VI, who died in 1759. In 1752, the "1 S" was dropped from the reverse.
