This specimen was not in the Eliasberg sale. All Mexican colonial gold may be considered scarce. This type was struck 1732-47 with the bust of Philip V but despite the lengthy production, it is not common. The SCWC notes no varieties for the date. Assayer MF is recorded for the years 1734-54.

Recorded mintage: unknown.

Specification: 3.38 g, 0.917 fine gold, .100 troy oz AGW.
