This specimen was lot 601 in Sincona sale 69 (Zürich, May 2021), where it sold for 160 CHF (about US$212 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"INDIA | Mewar | Britisches Protektorat. Fatteh Singh, VS1941-1986 (1884-1929 AD). 1/2 Rupee VS 1985 (1928 AD). NGC MS65+. (India, rana of Mewar, Fatteh Singh, 1884-1929, half rupee of VS 1985. Uncirculated.)"

Mewar (or Mewad) is a region in the south-central part of Rajasthan state of India. It includes the present-day districts of Bhilwara, Chittorgarh, Pratapgarh, Rajsamand, Udaipur, Pirawa Tehsil of Jhalawar District of Rajasthan, Neemuch and Mandsaur of Madhya Pradesh and some parts of Gujarat. Mewar State (also known as Udaipur State) was an independent state in northwestern India prior to the formation of the Indian Republic in 1949. This type was accompanied by a rupee, quarter rupee, eighth rupee (two annas) and sixteenth rupee (one anna).
