This specimen was lot 22713 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2018), where it sold for $288. The catalog description[1] noted, "GERMANY. Mecklenburg-Schwerin. 1/6 Taler, 1848-A. Berlin Mint. PCGS MS-66 Secure Holder. One year type. A real beauty. Needle sharp strike with light grey tone and strong underlying luster." This is the only issue of the denomination from this state in the 19th century.
