This specimen was lot 3358 in Aureo y Calicó sale 422 (Barcelona, December 2023), where it sold for 25 € (about US$32 including buyer's fees). The catalog description^[1] noted, "Maldivas. AH 1399 (1979). 100 rufiyaa. FAO. AG. Proof." This NCLT, altho labeled an FAO coin, was actually issued for International Woman's Year. The proofs, struck in sterling silver, outnumber the uncirculated, struck in 0.800 fine silver.

Recorded mintage: 6,000 plus 8,000 proofs.
