Sincona sale 77, lot 2171

This specimen was lot 2171 in Sincona sale 77 (Zürich, May 2022), where it sold for 1,300 CHF (about US$1,578 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"GERMANY | Mainz, Erzbistum. Uriel von Gemmingen, 1508-1514. Goldgulden 1509, Mainz. Selten. Sehr schön. Kleiner Randfehler. (Germany, archbishopric of Mainz, Uriel von Gemmingen, 1508-1514, goldgulden of 1509, Mainz mint. Rare, Very fine, Minor edge flaw.)"

Friedberg lumps all the goldgulden of this prelate under one catalog number which the SCWC divides into MB 21, 23, 24, 25 and 27. This one is identified as KM MB23 by the "ARChl" in the obverse legend.
