This specimen was lot 2316 in Steve Album Auction 54 (Santa Rosa, CA, January 2026), where it sold for $570. The catalog description[1] noted, "MADRAS PRESIDENCY: AR rupee, Arkat (struck at Calcutta), AH1172 year 6 (frozen), rose mintmark on the reverse; wonderful mint state example! NGC graded MS64." This type was struck with a frozen date in Calcutta. It is catalogued under the Madras Presidency altho Calcutta is in Bengal. Many varieties exist (KM 403, 410, 415.1, 415.2, 436 and KM 427, shown here) along with half, quarter and eighth rupees.
