This specimen was lot 758 in Steve Album Auction 55 (Santa Rosa, CA, May 2026), where it sold for $480. The catalog description[1] noted, "MADRAS PRESIDENCY: AR 5 fanams, ND (1807), first series, without garter, denomination in 4 languages (Persian and English on obverse, Telugu and Tamil on reverse), some old cleaning, nicely retoned, accompanied by collector's information card, VF, RR, ex Anton Holt Collection." This one year type is cheap in low grade but is expensive in Very Fine or better. Numista states one pagoda was 42 fanams.
Recorded mintage: 988,000.
Specification: 4.42-4.70 g, 0.896 fine silver, 17.3 mm diameter, this specimen 4.64 g.
