Macedonia is one of the fragments of the former Yugoslavia. She preserves a fragile independence but is dominated by her neighbor Serbia. This five denars was struck in 1993, 2001, 2006 and 2008. Other dates may exist. As of August 2023, US$1 = 56.48 Macedonian denars, making this coin worth about US$0.09.

Recorded mintage: unknown but not rare.

Specification: 7.25 g, brass, 27.5 mm diameter, plain edge.
