This specimen was lot 1414 in Jean Elsen sale 121 (Brussels, June 2014), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted,

"ITALIE, MACCAGNO, Giacomo III Mandelli (1618-1645), ducat anonyme, 1622, Droit: MONE· AVRE- CO· II· MA 1622 Ecu à trois lions cimé d'un heaume. Giacamo Mandelli of Maccagno, an otherwise unremarkable Italian nobleman, briefly exercised his mint right in the early 1620's, producing about fifteen different ducats (Fr-494 thru Fr-508) before retiring into obscurity. Maccagno, today a town of about 2000 people, lies on Lake Maggiore on the border with Switzerland. In the seventeenth century, it was part of the duchy of Milan.
