This specimen was lot 3322 in SINCONA Auction 97 (Zürich, May 2025), where it sold for 80 CHF (about US$116 including buyers' fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"SCHWEIZ Luzern, Stadt und Kanton, Angster 1839, Luzern. FDC. (Switzerland, city and canton of Luzern, angster of 1839, Luzern mint. Mint State.)"
At this time, ten rappen = one batzen and 240 angster = ten batzen = one frank and four franken = one thaler. This type was struck 1839 and 1843 and this is the more common date. Note the die cud on the reverse.
Recorded mintage: 300,000.
Specifications: 0.6 g, copper, 13 mm diameter, this specimen 0.61 g.
