This specimen was part of lot 5334 in Sincona Auction 102 (Zürich, October 2025), where it sold for 100 CHF (about US$151 including buyers' fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"SCHWEIZ. Luzern. Stadt und Kanton. Schilling 1609, 1610, Luzern. Lot von 2 Stück. Sehr schön-vorzüglich. (Switzerland, canton of Luzern, schilling of 1609 and 1610, Luzern mint. Very Fine-Extremely Fine, two pieces.)"

This type was struck in numerous varieties 1609-12 and undated. St. Leodegar, depicted on the reverse, made an enemy of Ebroin, mayor of the palace of Neustria, and was blinded on his orders in AD 679. One thaler was 36 schilling or 72 kreuzer.
