This specimen was lot 4028 in Künker sale 335 (Osnabrück, Germany, March 2020), where it sold for €1,100 (about US$1,440 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"LÜBECK, STADT. Reichstaler (32 Schilling) 1595, mit Titel Rudolfs II. und dem Abzeichen des Bürgermeisters Diedrich von Brömse. Feine Patina, leichte Prägeschwäche, vorzüglich. (Germany, city of Lubeck, thaler of 1595, in the name of Rudolf II and the badge of mayor Diedrich von Brömse. Fine patina, slightly weak strike, extremely fine.)"
Davenport lists this type for 1595-1600. A double thaler (Dav-9415) also exists.
