This specimen was lot 164 in Schulman auction 385 (Amsterdam, July 2025), where it sold for €100 (about US$142 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted, "Lithuania - 4 Groszy 1567, Silver, SIGISMUND AUGUST 1548-1572 Crowned bust right. Rev. two arms, crown above, IIII below. Rare. Very fine +." This type was struck 1565-69 at Vilnius and seems to be common. Sigismund II Augustus was grand duke of Lithuania and king of Poland. He was the last male member of the Jagiellonian dynasty.
