This specimen was lot 74306 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, November 2023), where it sold for $80. The catalog description[1] noted, "LITHUANIA. 1/2 Groschen, 1562. Sigismund II Augustus. PCGS MS-62. Displaying with above average strike detail and centering, this example also has a soft blue patina tone. From the Kings Norton Mint Collection." In the sixteenth century, Lithuania comprised the northeast half of the kingdom of Poland whose monarch ruled the two regions separately.
