This specimen was lot 72565 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice sale (Santa Ana, CA, October 2020), where it sold for $120. The catalog description^[1] noted, "POLAND. Lithuania. 1/2 Groschen, 1548. Vilnius Mint. Sigismund II August. PCGS MS-63. Fairly well centered and struck, this brilliant, choice example presents subtle toning and a good deal of luster radiating throughout." This type was struck 1546-69 in numerous varieties.
