This specimen was lot 1197 in Jean Elsen sale 146 (Brussels, November 2020), where it sold for €200 (about US$292 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

(bishopric of Liège, John Theodore of Bavaria, 1744-63, silver double escalin of 1753. The principality was invaded and annexed by revolutionary France in 1797.

Recorded mintage: unknown.

Specification: silver, this specimen 8,99 g.
