Stephen Album sale 32, lot 931
Lebanon SA32-931r.jpg

This specimen was lot 931 in Stephen Album sale 32 (Santa Rosa, CA, September 2018), where it sold for $235. The catalog description[1] noted, "LEBANON: AR 10 livres, 1980, Winter Olympics, Lake Placid, tied for highest graded at PCGS, PCGS graded PF69 DC." We don't know who sold the Lebanese government on issuing this NCLT but it is rare and obscure. The accompanying gold 400 livres (KM 34) and copper-nickel livre (KM 32) are also seldom seen. According to Wikipedia, Lebanon sent three athletes to this games, all skiers, none of whom medalled.

Recorded mintage: 20,000.

Specification: 19 g, 0.500 fine silver.

Catalog reference: KM-33.
