This specimen was lot 76007 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice Online Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, February 2025), where it sold for $85. The catalog description[1] noted, "LATVIA. Lats, 2000. PCGS PROOF-69 Deep Cameo. UNICEF issue." This NCLT was struck in Switzerland by the Valcambi mint for Latvia to honor UNICEF. The Valcambi gold refinery is still in business (they are notorious for buying conflict gold) but we don't know if the mint is still operating.

Recorded mintage: 6,000 proofs.

Specification: 31.47 g, 0.925 fine silver, 38.6 mm diameter.
